You can remove PAS for OpenEdge using the uninstaller bundled with the installation. The uninstaller is located inside the uninstall directory on the PAS for OpenEdge install path.

Before initiating the uninstallation, ensure all PAS for OpenEdge instances are stopped, there are no active connections to the server, and any important configurations are backed up.

To uninstall:
  1. Open a terminal and navigate to the install/uninstall directory.
  2. Run the uninstaller:
    ./uninstall
  3. Press Enter to continue. If you want to continue with the uninstallation, press 1 when prompted.

    The uninstaller removes all PAS for OpenEdge components.

  4. Navigate to /usr/Progress and verify that the pas directory has been removed.
