When upgrading from OpenEdge 11.7.x to OpenEdge 12, bear in mind the following:
  • If you import OpenEdge 11.7.x installation configurations using the configutil utility, then the property files associated with the classic AppServer and the configurations related to OpenEdge Management, OpenEdge Business Process Management, and Tomcat-in-the-box will be ignored.

  • If you migrate your resource configuration from OpenEdge Management 11.7.x to OpenEdge Management 12 , then the following in the fathom.xml file will be ignored during the import process:
    • AppServer
    • AppServer Internet Adapter (AIA)
    • ODBC DataServer
    • REST resources
    • SonicMQ Adapter
    • WebSpeed
    • Web Services Adapter (WSA)
