You use the same database utilities to copy an audit-enabled database as you use for a database that does not have auditing enabled. The copy operation itself is also audited to track the database administrator who performed the copy.

If the database is being copied to create a new database instance, you also add the command-line options necessary to initialize the new database with its own identity (UUID). If the copy is read-only, no new UUID is necessary.
