As an organization administrator, you can determine language and appearance for a given org (SETTINGS > Appearance - International), including:

  • An org-wide WebUI language.
  • Whether or not the WebUI prompts first-time users with a 'choose your language' page.
  • The regional formatting (typically country-specific) date/time strings.

Make a selection and click Change Default Language.

  • This setting determines the organization's default language.
  • The sign-on screen for new users displays the language you define here.

Interface

Choose to Show Pre-Signon Language Select Page. This toggle enables users to select a language at sign-on. This is helpful for users who have not previously made a language selection.

Date/Time

Choose date/time formatting:

  • Formatting Locale. Choose regional formatting for dates and times on a per-org basis.
  • Default: Inherit regional date/time settings from the MOVEit Transfer server host.

Change Time and Date Preferences

As org admin, you can configure a specific a time string format and a time zone for the organization. Users can keep the org's timezone for their display setting or use their local or preferred time zone display settings. Additionally, when creating reports, users can specify a specific time zone to be used for filtering and displaying date and time-based data in a report.

  • Org admins can choose between using the default server (database) time zone or specifying a different default time zone for the org.

  • Individual users can use the org-wide time zone (as defined) or choose a display setting according to time zone preference.

  • When creating or editing reports, users can choose to use the server time zone, the org time zone, or specify an alternative time zone.
