To modify, repair, or uninstall MOVEit Automation

  1. Launch the MOVEit installation program.
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • Modify the current MOVEit installation. Select Modify Progress MOVEit , then click Next . This option restarts the setup process and allows you to install additional modules available based upon the activation key entered. Proceed through the installation workflow described in MOVEit Installation.
    • Repair the current MOVEit installation. Select Repair Progress MOVEit , then click Next . This option automatically restarts MOVEit installation using the same options selected during the initial installation.
    • Uninstall MOVEit. Select Uninstall Progress MOVEit , then click Next . Please note, all modules selected during MOVEit installation will be removed.
  3. When the application removal is complete, click Finish .

If you attempt to uninstall MOVEit using the Add/Remove Programs feature in the Windows Control panel, you can only uninstall each module selected during installation individually. Progress recommends retaining the executable used to install MOVEit so the program can be more easily modified/repaired as described previously or removed completely.
