Upgrading to the latest version of MOVEit Transfer ensures you have access to the latest features, fixes, security updates, and usability improvements.

Upgrade paths

Important: MOVEit Transfer 2024 supports "direct upgrade" (upgrade by way of running the MOVEit Transfer installer) for existing MOVEit Transfer 2022 (14.0) and newer.

Use the Upgrade Path table to find out how you can move earlier or legacy versions to MOVEit Transfer 2024.

Use the latest installer to upgrade to 2024.0 as described in the Installation and Upgrade Guide.

Older versions of MOVEit Transfer 2022

If you are running a version that is out of date or close to being out of date, you can:

  • Upgrade to a supported version such as 2022.0 (running the 2022 installer in upgrade mode), then...
  • Use the latest installer to upgrade 2022.0 to 2024.0 as described in the Installation and Upgrade Guide.
Note: Check the Product Lifecycle page --upgrade to the latest version of MOVEit Transfer if your product version is close to or past its Retired or Sunset milestones.
