As a system administrator, you should test any production configuration on a staging instance with production security before moving to a live production system.

Use the staging instance to:
  • Configure the instance for production
  • Stage r-code
  • Deploy artifacts including ABL web applications and ABL services
  • Test and tune the instance
After testing and tuning are complete, zip the files to include both r-code and deployed artifacts that can be unzipped and registered on a live production system.
