You should consider upgrading your DataDirect products to the latest version as often as possible. The most current version of the product often resolves security issues, includes new features and bug fixes, and uses the latest third-party components that can be used to better safeguard the environment where your application is deployed. Note that when you are upgrading, in addition to the driver files, make sure that you are also getting the latest versions of shared tools, resources, and libraries. For example, the Driver Manager, Unicode conversion tables, and OpenSSL libraries.
