To be flexible enough to work in a variety of environments, the drivers support a large number of features and connection properties. We strongly recommend reviewing the documentation, specifically the “Connection property descriptions” section of the user’s guide for your driver, to view the security features and properties that are supported for your driver. As a general rule, you should deploy your application to leverage driver features and properties that elevate the level of security for their environment. For example, the CryrptoProtocolVersion property can be used to specify which cryptographic protocols can be used when SSL is enabled.
