Note:

This section does not apply to service accounts.

Once a tenancy is established, you will receive the tenancy URL, which automatically redirects to the Sign-in page. Sign in using the identity provider configured for this tenancy. When prompted, grant permission to share your information with progress.cloud.

Note:

If you do not know your tenancy URL, contact your tenant administrator.

If you are not yet a registered user of this tenancy, signing in automatically attempts to register your account with this tenancy. A successful sign-in from your identity provider triggers one of these events:

  1. The Progress Data Cloud Your Environments or Your Apps page appears. If one of these pages appears, then you are ready to use Progress Data Cloud. If you need additional roles, then contact your tenant administrators.

  2. This message appears: Your account has insufficient permissions for access. This message indicates that a tenant administrator will be contacted by email and must set up your roles. Try to sign in again after a reasonable amount of time. Contact your tenant administrators if you need additional assistance.

  3. The Sign-in page reappears with this message: This domain is not allowed. Use a different account or contact the administrator. This message means that the email address that you used to sign in is not within one of the domains configured for this tenancy. Sign in with an account from a different domain, or tell your tenant administrators that you see this message. One of them will provide further instruction.

After signing in, you can access your services by clicking the Your Apps page card that corresponds to the service that you want to use:

  • If you have access to only one environment, then the Your Apps page appears immediately when you sign in.

  • If you have access to more than one environment, then the Your Environments page appears immediately when you sign in instead of the Your Apps page. To access the Your Apps page, click the Your Environments page card that corresponds to the environment that contains the service that you want to use. The Your Apps page for that environment appears.
