Update the downloaded file

Now it is time to update the configuration file downloaded in previous step.

We strongly recommend you do not modify any other sections but Profiles.

1. Open the file in a good HTML/XML editor
2. Locate the <profiles> element in the file. Each Profile is represented by the <profile> element.
3. Now you are free to add, delete, or update Profiles that will be created on your machine.
4. Do not delete or modify the Live profile (in FMC it is called AllSources). It must be present in the file. All other profiles can be removed.
5. If you delete a parent channel, you must delete a complete subtree of its subchannels. Refer to the Profile hierarchy section below for more information.
