Install the new version of semaphore software

To install a new version of Semaphore:

1. Download the latest version of the relevant Semaphore components from the Progress Customer Portal in the Software Downloads area. If you are unsure of which components you require for your installation, contact Progress Semaphore. However, typically, the components your download should correspond to those you uninstalled in "Un-install (remove) the existing Semaphore components."

2. Re-install each of the Semaphore components. Follow the instructions in How to install Semaphore to ensure that the components are installed correctly and in the correct order. Note that, if you intend to use the existing configuration files, components should be installed into the same folders that were used on the previous installation; otherwise, manual adjustments to the configuration files might be required prior to their use in the new installation.
