Backup your existing installation

To backup your existing installation, we recommend copying configuration directories and directories that store data. The following tables list the configuration directories and data directories that are used to retore your installation. Refer to Backing up and restoring Semaphore in the Semaphore for Linux Administration for details.

Note: The KMM data can also be backed up via the API.
