This configuration can be found in Settings → System settings → Storage Settings.

In this section, you can modify the data storage settings.

The parameter Delete events after is used to set the removal of events after a specified period. This is useful for archiving events for later analysis. The value Never sets the events lifetime to infinity while the Default period sets the default values (which (for an event) is 183 days).

The InactiveTimeout parameter specifies the time interval after which an event is considered to be ended if it is not active anymore.

The UpdateInterval parameter sets the time between event updates in the GUI.

The number of days for which the data for the flow chart (in the Analysis section) is being stored can be set by using the Delete flow chart after parameter.

The Attach flows and Flow template parameters allow you to activate the saving of flow samples (assigning them to individual events) and the selection of fields to be saved. These samples are used as an attachment to some types of email reports. Note that enabling this feature consumes free space in the ADS database and can slow down ADS.
