The Connector comes as a separate extension that you can install and use without the main application. It doesn't include a GUI or configuration page because it contains only custom rules, custom DSMs, QID records, and other internal components that help QRadar recognize events from Flowmon ADS. Install the Connector using the same process described in the Installation instructions. Additionally, you need to configure Flowmon to send event information to QRadar.

Connector Installation

After you download the zip package with the connector, follow these steps:

  1. Open the QRadar Console GUI.
  2. Sign in to the account with admin rights.
  3. Open the Admin tab.
  4. Click Extension Management in the System Configuration section.

  1. Click Add.

  1. Browse to and select the package you previously downloaded.

  1. After successful installation, you will see new custom rules on the Offenses page.
