The following section outlines the configuration options for using NFS with Dell ObjectScale. NFS requires four Virtual Services set up by the application template. You must use port following to ensure traffic is sent to the same ObjectScale node.
- Deploy NFS Virtual Services using the application template.
- Configure port following for the
CMD-L7-NFS-UDP-Portmap Virtual Service:
- In the main menu of the Connection Manager WUI, go to Virtual Services > View/Modify Services.
- Click Modify for the CMD-L7-NFS-UDP-Portmap Virtual Service.
- Expand Advanced Properties.
- Select the CMD-L7-NFS-TCP-ALL Virtual Service in the Port Following drop-down list.
- Configure port following for the
CMD-L7-NFS-UDP-MountD Virtual Service:
- In the main menu of the Connection Manager WUI, go to Virtual Services > View/Modify Services.
- Click Modify for the CMD-L7-NFS-UDP-MountD Virtual Service.
- Expand Advanced Properties.
- Select the CMD-L7-NFS-TCP-ALL Virtual Service in the Port Following drop-down list.

CMD-L7-NFS-UDP-LockD Virtual Service:
- In the main menu of the Connection Manager WUI, go to Virtual Services > View/Modify Services.
- Click Modify for the CMD-L7-NFS-UDP-LockD Virtual Service.
- Expand Advanced Properties.
- Select the CMD-L7-NFS-TCP-ALL Virtual Service in the Port Following drop-down list.
