Use PASMAN to delete an instance

Using the pasman delete command removes the directory tree and all of the files in an instance. You cannot recover any files or directories removed by the delete action. Backup anything you want to save before executing this action. Alias tracking is disabled for servers that are removed.

To delete a PAS for OpenEdge instance using PASMAN:

1. Run the Proenv utility.
2. Stop the target instance if it is running.
3. Type the pasman delete command along with the specified filepath and instance name:

   pasman delete instance-path/instance-name
