Create an instance

After installing PAS for OpenEdge, use pasman create to create an instance. For this demonstration a development instance is used. Additional configuration and security changes are required for a production instance.

1. In Windows, open a proenv command prompt.
2. Change to the directory for your new instance, proenv>cd c:\OpenEdge\wrk.
3. Enter the following command to create a development instance.

    pasman create myInstance
