In OpenEdge12.2.11, the ENCRYPT and DECRYPT functions in ABL are extended to support AES-GCM encryption. Prior to this release, ABL developers had to hardcode the AES-GCM cipher suite in their code to meet FIPS compliance. For more information, see the following documentation topics:
