Note: From 12.0 onwards, if you are an AIX64 customer - building the DataServer executables is no longer needed. OpenEdge provides executables like _progres, _orasrv, _mproapsv which can be used directly. These executables dynamically load Oracle Client libraries pointed by ORACLE_HOME. However, the environment variable ORACLE_HOME needs to be set to the top-level directory of Oracle Client Installation. With this change, from 12.0 onwards progress will stop shipping the build scripts needed for building executables.
