Establish a connection to an unmanaged local or remote database connection
An unmanaged database connection refers to a database that is not being managed by OpenEdge Management and that you are using only to perform database administration tasks related to multi-tenancy.
You can start an unmanaged database connection (located on the local host or a remote host) by using the command line. You can then use the multi-tenancy configuration tool to work with that database once you define a connection to it.
For a local or remote unmanaged database connection in the database connections list, you can also:
- View details about an unmanaged database connection on the database home page. For more information, see About Managing Multi-tenant Databases.
- Copy an unmanaged database connection.
- Delete an unmanaged database connection.
