When the upgrade is interrupted during the install phase, the installer triggers a rollback. At this stage, installation changes may already be applied. During the rollback, the installer uninstalls the existing OpenEdge Command Center server binaries, while leaving the database and its data unchanged.
Note: Do not restore the database before reinstalling. The database remains
intact, and restoring it may cause data loss.
To resume the upgrade that is interrupted during the install phase, complete the following
steps:
- Open the OpenEdge Command Center server installation directory:
- Windows: <install_dir>\oecc\server\
- Linux: <install_dir>/oecc/server/
- Remove all the files and folders in this directory except the
install_logs folder.Note: Do not delete the install_logs folder. These log files are required for support diagnostics if the reinstallation fails.
- Reinstall the server. For details, see Install and configure the OpenEdge Command Center server.
