Retrying a connection

Retrying a connection to a busy FTP site: If the initial connection attempt fails, the FTP site may be busy. WS_FTP can try again to make a connection.

1. In the toolbar, click Connect to open the Site Manager.
2. Select the site in the Sites list, then click Edit.
3. Select Advanced.
4. In the Connection Retries box, enter the number of times to try again (0 - 40 attempts are allowed).
5. In the Connection retry delay box, enter the amount of time between attempts by WS_FTP toestablish a connection if the first connection attempt fails. This can be from 5 to 300 seconds.
