To configure 32-bit OpenEdge ODBC driver on 64-bit Windows system, use the legacy 32-bit ODBC Administration tool odbcad32.exe, found at either of the following locations:
  • %WINDIR%\syswow64\odbcad32.exe
  • %SYSTEMROOT%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

Run odbcad32.exe with local administrator permissions, to allow configuring 32-bit ODBC connections in the same way as with the default ODBC Administration tool in the Control Panel under Administrative Tools in Data Sources.

After installing 32-bit Progress application and running odbcad32.exe on 64-bit Windows, add Progress 32-bit ODBC drivers by clicking the Add button:
