You can export your current workspace settings so that you can apply the same preferences to another settings.

To export Workspace settings:

  1. Select File > Export from the main menu bar of Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge.
    The Export wizard opens.
  2. Select Progress OpenEdge > Workspace Settings and click Next.
    The Export Workspace Settings page appears.
  3. Perform the steps as mentioned:
    • Select Progress OpenEdge Preferences to export all the preferences in the Window > Preferences > Progress OpenEdge node.
    • Select Progress Databases Preferences to export all the preferences in the Window > Preferences > Progress Databases node.
    Note: Progress OpenEdge Preferences is specific to Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge settings.

    Only the modified preferences get exported, not the ones that are present by default.

  4. Select the location where you want to save the .zip file in To Archive file.
  5. Click Finish.
    The preferences (for the Progress Databases and Progress OpenEdge nodes in the workspace) are saved to *.zip file.
