When an Office document is uploaded to SharePoint, SharePoint updates the document to store the SharePoint metadata that was added to the item in the library. This will cause the file size of the uploaded file to differ from the original file size.

Web Admin

Non-admin users cannot import tasks in MOVEit Automation .

To resolve this issue, non-admin users should use the Admin Console rather than the Web Admin to import tasks. For more information, see Import Tasks.

Amazon S3
In some situations MOVEit Automation cannot connect to an Amazon S3 bucket in regions other than us-east-1, resulting on the following errors
  • Error: could not find region for bucket <bucket-name>: Access Denied
  • Error 2025: Encountered network error when sending http request
To resolve this issue, complete one of the following steps.
  • Edit the IAM policy of the user to explicitly include s3:GetBucketLocation.
  • If it is not possible to edit the IAM policy to include s3:GetBucketLocation, edit the Amazon S3 host. Check the Use alternate S3 provider box, and one of the following URLs https://s3.amazonaws.com or https://s3.region.amazonaws.com, where region is the correct AWS region.
