GEO Debug Options

Restart GEO Services

Clicking Restart GEO Services restarts the nameserver, health check, and stickiness services.

GEO Process Monitor

When the GEO Process Monitor is enabled, three primary services (nameserver, healthchecks, and persistence) are monitored. If one or more of these services shut down, the LoadMaster attempts to restart them. By default, the GEO Process Monitor option is enabled.

The GEO Process Monitor setting is synced across High Availability (HA) units. The GEO Process Monitor setting is not synced across GEO partner units.

Automatic Partner Syncing

Enable or disable automatic synchronization of configuration data from this unit to all partners. Disabling the Automatic Partner Syncing option may be useful when debugging complex environments. The manual sync button on the page still functions when the automatic sync is disabled.

Sync Partners - Debug Mode

Clicking Debug Sync pushes the GEO configuration to the configured partners and logs the connection debug information in the message log.

Retrieve All Remote Cluster VS' - Debug Mode

Clicking Debug Retrieve gets the remote Virtual Service data from all configured LoadMaster clusters and logs the connection debug information in the message log.

Enable SSHD debug logs

Clicking Enable SSHD debug logs enables SSHD debug logs to debug the incoming connections from remote machines.

Enable GEO Query Logging

Enable bind debug trace logs for GEO.

Note: GEO Query Logging should only be enabled when troubleshooting because it will impact the performance of the LoadMaster.

Open warning log

Open the warning log in a new window. The warning logs also contain any SSHD debug logs if they are enabled on this page.

Open nameserver log

Open the name server log in a new window.
