Philips IntelliSpace PACS is an enterprise imaging platform used to store, manage, and provide access to diagnostic medical images across healthcare organizations. The Progress Kemp LoadMaster enhances Philips IntelliSpace PACS by intelligently distributing application traffic, monitoring server health, and providing high availability, performance optimization, scalability, and security to support continuous access to critical imaging services for clinicians and radiologists.

The LoadMaster is used to load balance the Philips IntelliSpace PACS workload. The LoadMaster offers advanced Layer 4 and Layer 7 server load balancing, SSL Acceleration, and a multitude of other advanced Application Delivery Controller (ADC) features. The LoadMaster intelligently and efficiently distributes user traffic among the application servers so that users get the best experience possible.
