OpenAccess SDK Client for ODBC

OpenAccess SDK Client for ODBC is fully compliant with the Microsoft ODBC 3.52 specification. Progress DataDirect is committed to supporting the ODBC specification.

In client/server configuration, the Client for ODBC communicates with OpenAccess SDK Server to execute SQL queries on the server platform.

In local configuration, the local Client for ODBC library loads OpenAccess SDK Local Server. OpenAccess SDK Local Server loads the OpenAccess SDK SQL engine, which loads the IP library. These OpenAccess SDK components and the application run in the same process.
