Uploading Documents

Any document classified by the configured Classification and Language Server will be added to the Marklogic Database backing the Semaphore Text Mining Side Panel. You could use the CS-Client jar file to bulk upload many documents or within the Semaphore Text Mining Side Panel you can select the “Upload” tab. Select a zip file containing your files and “Upload Zip File”. These documents will be sent to the CLS server and so be classified with the results being saved to the MarkLogic database. They will then be available for analysis.

There is a “Clear Documents” button on this pane. This will remove all documents from the MarkLogic database backing this tool. Make sure that your colleagues are aware before pressing this button. However, if you want to reclassify all your data, just click this button then upload your zip file again.
