Access to the classification server test interface is still available by clicking on the link from the main CAT interface or by entering the URL:

http://servername:5059/csti.html

This should display a page similar to the following (note the style of this interface has been updated in version 4.1.7):

The top section of this page allows you to specify individual elements of the request and the bottom section allows you to directly specify the XML to be processed by Classification Server. For further information about the options available see the online help available by clicking on the “here” link in “Click here for help” at the bottom of the top section of the page. The following are the general operations available:

  • Select File/Select URL - This toggles between specifying a URL and specifying a document to upload (for classification).
  • Submit Query - This will submit the specified information in the top section of the form to Classification Server for classification.
  • Generate XML - This will place the XML equivalent of the top section into the bottom section of the form.
  • Example 1/Example 2 - This will place a sample document request into the upper and bottom sections of the form.
  • Reset Form - This will reset the entered information.
  • Submit XML - This will submit the displayed XML to Classification Server.

Beside the “Submit XML” form you can select a specific XML file (or PAK file to upload for a “Publish”) to use for the request by clicking on the “Browse…” button.

The following buttons generate sample XML requests for the particular type of operation and places the request in the bottom section of the form where it may be edited before being submitted to Classification Server (see later sections for further details about these operations):

  • Generate Publish
  • Generate Stats

Specifying the “User XSL stylesheet” option will cause the following type of output to be generated:

This output uses a standard XSL (served from “http://[CS-SERVER:PORT]/apr.xsl”; the “apr.xsl” file is found in the “test” subfolder of the Classification Server installation folder) to reformat the results as seen above..

The standard display, that is, when NOT using the “User XSL stylesheet” parameter, is as follows (simply a display of the XML generated by Classification Server):

Note: Some browsers may not correctly display the XML returned from Classification Server. See your browser documentation for further details. For example, if using Google Chrome you will have to install a browser extension such as “XML Tree” before the information will be displayed as above.
