If you have an earlier version of the Network Telemetry add-on package (that is, version 7.2.48.9 or earlier) installed before the system is updated to this release, the add-on package will not work properly after the update is applied. The solution is to remove the earlier package and then install the 7.2.48.10 version of the add-on package. You can do this as follows:

  1. Log into the UI and navigate to System Administration > System Configuration > Update Software.
  2. Under Installed Addon Packages, the earlier Flowmon package will be in red text, indicating that it has stopped working. Click Remove to delete that package from the system. [Note that the current parameter settings for Network Telemetry will remain in the configuration.]
  3. In another browser window, open the Network Telemetry add-on downloads web page and download the 7.2.48.10 version of the Flowmon package to your local workstation.
  4. In the LoadMaster UI Update Software page, use the controls under Install Add-On Packages at the bottom of the page to upload the 7.2.48.10 add-on package from your workstation to the LoadMaster, and click Install Add-on Package.

Once installed, the new add-on version will be running with the same parameters that were in place for the previous add-on package. To verify that the add-on is running, check the system log (System Administration > System Configuration > Logging Options > System Log Files > System Message File) and look for log lines like the following. One message should appear for each interface that is enabled in the Network Telemetry configuration:

flowd: Starting Monitor for
