When you deploy a WebClient application, you must choose the servers to host your application.

When determining how to host your WebClient deployment, you must consider how you will host your configuration files and code bases.

Whether you use IntelliStream technology or another platform to download your configuration files, the WebClient requires that you download the application configuration file from a standard Internet-based server, such as a Web server or a file server.

If you are using IntelliStream, the codebase (the application components for the initial download and for updates) can reside on a standard Internet-based server, or on an application server.
