To specify your installation choices, complete the following steps:
In the Product Configuration Data
dialog box, press CTRL + A to load your License Addendum file, which contains the
serial numbers and control codes for the OpenEdge license you purchased. An
electronic license addendum file eases the installation process by reading your
serial number and control code information from the file, rather than being manually
entered. Alternatively, enter the company name, serial number, and control number
for each OpenEdge product listed in your License Addendum file. When you are
finished entering license information, press CTRL + E to continue.
In the JavaHome Pathname dialog box,
enter the path where the JDK is installed to specify the JavaHome and press ENTER to
continue.
Note: Ensure that you have
the correct JDK version installed. Otherwise, an error message is displayed,
and you cannot proceed with the installation. For information about the JDK
requirements on each supported platform, see the OpenEdge 12 Platform
Compatibility Guide.
In the Install Type and Destination
dialog box, select one of the options, press the TAB key to highlight Continue with Installation, and then press
ENTER. The options are described in the following table:

written in SQL. Press the TAB key to highlight Continue with Install, then press ENTER.
In the Language Selection dialog
box, select the language to be used for OpenEdge error and informational messages,
