After you annotate your source, you generate your .esboe files. Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge provides two options for generating the files:

Outside of Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge, use ProxyGen to generate your .esboe files from annotated ABL code. For more information about ProxyGen, see Use the Open Client Toolkit.

Note: You can generate .esboe files from unnannotated ABL code with ProxyGen. For more information, see Non-declarative invocation files.

After you generate your .esboe files, you are ready to create an ESB process in Sonic.
