Generate .esboe files

After you annotate your source, you generate your .esboe files. Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge provides two options for generating the files:

• If you configured your preferences to automatically build the .esboe files, build your project. For instructions on configuring your project, see Configure Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge for ESB annotations.
• Right-click on either the Resources view or the ABL Editor, and select OpenEdge > Generate Sonic ESB Invocation Files.

Outside of Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge, use ProxyGen to generate your .esboe files from annotated ABL code. For more information about ProxyGen, see Use the Open Client Toolkit.

After you generate your .esboe files, you are ready to create an ESB process in Sonic.
