The Edit Schema wizards allow you to modify schema elements (tables, columns, and indexes). They are available from context menus in the OpenEdge DB Structure view of connected OpenEdge databases.

The Edit Schema wizards generate and execute SQL scripts that commit schema changes. You can view Edit Schema scripts in an editor and control the script's execution by using options available in the OpenEdge Schema Editing preferences page. The two options that apply are Open script in Editor upon completion of wizard and Execute and commit schema change upon completion of wizard.
