Note: Admin Console will be retired in the MOVEit Automation 2024.1 release. The option to install or upgrade Admin Console will be removed from the MOVEit Automation installer.

Web Admin replaces Admin Console, and will be the only way to administer MOVEit Automation features and functions for 2024.1 and future releases.

The following new features and improvements were added to MOVEit Automation 2024.

Improved export encryption

Improved encryption was implemented for configuration, task, and bulk task export.

Improvements include encryption of sensitive data with a server key or passphrase for exported configuration files and tasks, as well as an option to sanitize sensitive information in an exported configuration file. For more information, see Commands, Export Task, and Export Tasks.

The improved export encryption feature affects the GetMICConfig backup utility, and any configurations exported using the utility will need a server key or passphrase to decrypt. For more information, see GetMICConfig Utility.

Advanced task configuration view updates

The updated Advanced Task configuration view has been the default since MOVEit Automation 2021.1. It is now the only supported configuration.

The original configuration was removed, and all advanced tasks created using the original configuration are updated without any loss of functionality.

Active Directory log on

Starting with MOVEit Automation version 2024.0, when logging on using Active Directory, you must enter your credentials in the format mydomain\myusername
