When the image is uploaded, you can deploy a new LoadMaster from Prism Central.

  1. In the top navigation, click Infrastructure.

  2. In the left-hand navigation, click VMs.

  3. Click Create VM.

  4. Enter the following under Configuration:
    1. Name – A unique name for the LoadMaster.
    2. Description (Optional) – A brief description of the LoadMaster.
    3. Project – The project in which the LoadMaster is being deployed.
    4. Number of VMs – The number of LoadMasters to deploy.
    5. CPUs – The number of CPUs to allocate to the LoadMaster.
    6. Cores Per CPU – The number of cores per CPU to allocate to the LoadMaster.
    7. Memory – The size of memory to allocate to the LoadMaster.
    Note: You may require more resources based on the workload (or workloads) being published through the LoadMaster.
  5. Click Next.

  6. Click Attach Disk.

  7. Enter the following in the Attach Disk screen:
    1. TypeDisk
    2. OperationClone from image
    3. Image – The name of the uploaded image
    4. Bus TypeIDE
  8. Click Save.

  9. Click Attach to Subnet.

  10. Select the Subnet and choose Access as the Attachment Type. Click Save.

  11. Select the Legacy BIOS Mode for the Boot Configuration.
  12. Click Next.

  13. Enter all relevant information, including the Categories and the correct Timezone.
  14. Click Next.

  15. Review the settings and click Create VM.
