After configuring the address details and accessing the Connection Manager using the Web User Interface (WUI), the Connection Manager must be licensed.

If licensing fails for any reason, various debug options will become available on both the WUI and the console. These options can be used to troubleshoot problems that may occur when trying to license the Connection Manager.

If licensing fails for any reason, a diagnostics menu appears when the Connection Manager console is accessed. This menu has the following options:

  • Ping: Performs a ping on the specified host. The Connection Manager tries to auto-detect what type of ping to use (ping for IPv4 and ping6 for IPv6). If this auto-detection does not work, you are asked which ping to use.
  • Traceroute: Performs a traceroute of the specific host.
  • Ifconfig: Displays raw ifconfig output.
  • Continue configuration: Use this option to reconfigure the address details of the Connection Manager.
