The Corticon install guide describes the system requirements and options for Corticon Server installation. Download and run the installer for Corticon Server. Choose the Corticon Server for Java option. The installer will install utilities, scripts, and samples as well as resources that will be provisioned to the Java server.
Note: The default Corticon server
installation does not include an evaluation license. You need a proper evaluation or
production license from Progress to run the software. If not, Corticon Server will not
work. Once you have a non-evaluation license JAR, navigate to the Corticon Server
installation location, typically
C:\Progress\Corticon_Server_Work_x.x\License\Server\ directory to paste the
file and, if necessary, overwrite the existing file in that location. See Corticon runtime component licensing "Corticon runtime component
licensing" in the Corticon Installation Guide for additional information. Note: The installer does not install Java or the Java application
server that are required before you can test the Java server.
