This section outlines how to manage a selected device in My Network view:

• Understanding Device Status Indicators. Useful table/legend of the colors and conventions used throughout to indicate device health.
• Applying monitors. Apply monitors in bulk or apply individually from Device Properties.
• Configuring and applying alerts, policies, and notifications. Build and chain models for incident handling and notification sequencing.
• Defining device groups, setting dependency chains, and applying individual and bulk settings.
• Creating users, user groups, and applying information access controls to device information and monitoring data.
• Use built-in lookup, trace, ping, and MIB query/browser tools.
