Follow these steps to start up a multi-user database using OpenEdge Explorer:

Click Resources > Go to Resources.

The Resources page opens.

Click the name of the database that you want to start.

Click Start Database.

The database is started. The State values of the database and background processes change to Running. The database is then ready for multi-user access.

Note: You may have to refresh the page if the status does not change.
