Validate database replication properties and run status

The DSRUTIL properties validation utility enables you to validate the replication properties of replication-enabled source and target databases and confirm running status of target database brokers.

VSTs help you manage data replication

Virtual system tables provide information to help you manage data replication. Examine fields in virtual system tables to determine the replication status of your databases.

Fields in virtual system tables offer a view into your replication landscape. For example, you'll find the current role for a database (source or target) in the Database status VST and server state details in the Replication VST.

Brokers run throughout recovery transitions

To finish transitions faster, database brokers continue running on single targets and replication sets. This improves performance for both manual and automatic recovery transitions.
