Philips IntelliSpace PACS uses multiple protocols for communication between clients, the PACS server, and other clinical systems.

Note: Progress Kemp developed a template containing our recommended settings for this workload. The template simplifies deployment by automatically populating the recommended settings and creating the required Virtual Services for the Philips IntelliSpace PACS workload. For further details, refer to the following section: Template.

When you use the Philips IntelliSpace template, LoadMaster automatically creates a set of recommended Virtual Services for this workload. The template provides a predefined configuration that serves as a starting point for deployment. After the Virtual Services are created, review and modify the settings as required for your environment.

To create the recommended Virtual Services by using the Philips IntelliSpace template:

  1. In the main menu of the LoadMaster UI, go to Virtual Services > Add New.
  2. Type a valid Virtual Address.
  3. From the Use Template list, select Philips IntelliSpace.
  4. Click Add this Virtual Service.

This automatically creates the Virtual Services and configures them with the recommended settings. If required, you can optionally view the recommended settings in the sub-sections below and you can modify any settings as required in your LoadMaster.
