System administrators can view PAS for OpenEdge configuration properties and make changes using the OpenEdge Management tool as well as the PASMAN command-line utility.

In most cases, you do not need to modify the values of the properties contained in the properties files. However, if required, you can modify the existing property values or add new properties. Depending on the property file that you want to edit, use one of the following tools:
  • pasman config—View or modify configuration properties.
  • pasman feature—Enable or disable server features.
  • OpenEdge Management—Edit the configuration files using a graphical user interface.
  • OpenEdge Command Center—Modify PAS for OpenEdge configuration properties with the OpenEdge Command Center graphical user interface.
