Before you begin to work with the sample application, you must:

  • Install the 12.2 or later release of Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge.
  • Install OpenEdge® Ultra Controls for .NET.
  • Download the visualdesigner zip file.

    Refer to this article in Progress Community to download the visualdesigner zip file.

  • Unzip visualdesigner.zip in an OpenEdge workspace.

    The SampleApp and SampleAppSolution project folders are created in the workspace.

Note: The sample application is targeted to work with .NET Framework only.
