Core user authentication and authorization

OpenEdge provides authentication and authorization features to broad areas of an OpenEdge application through elements of ABL and OpenEdge SQL. These features include mechanisms for:

• Configure OpenEdge security domains in an OpenEdge RDBMS
• Create user IDs in the OpenEdge RDBMS _User table
• Authenticate and authorize a user ID
• Assert a user ID validated using SSO
