The following code shows how to rename an existing policy:

define variable policy as IPartitionPolicy no-undo. 
assign
    policy = service:GetPartitionPolicy("OrderlineDatePolicy")
    policy:Name = "OrderLineDate". 
service:UpdatePartitionPolicy(policy).
