To manage ABL applications, ensure that the PAS for OpenEdge instance is running. From the OpenEdge Management menu, select Resources-> Progress Application Server. Filter or search for and select the required PAS for OpenEdge instance.

The ABL APPLICATIONS page appears by default, listing all the existing ABL applications managed by PAS for OpenEdge.

Perform any of the following operations:

Refresh Click to refresh the ABL application grid.
Deploy To deploy an ABL application. Click the Deploy tab. The Deploy ABL Application wizard appears.
  1. In the Select application .WAR field, perform one of the following actions to upload an ABL application.
    Note: Ensure that the selected file is an ABL application.
    • Browse to locate and select an ABL application .war file.
  2. Type a name in the ABL application name field. Select the application name from the auto suggest list that appears. The name must contain only alphanumeric characters. It must not contain blank spaces or special characters, except underscore (“_”) and hyphen (“-”).
  3. Type a name for the associated web application in the Web application name field
  4. Deploy the application on PAS for OpenEdge.
The OpenEdge ABL Web application is deployed.
Undeploy This operation is disabled by default and is enabled when an ABL application is selected to undeploy an ABL application on PAS for OpenEdge. Choose multiple ABL applications to perform this operation in bulk.
