A successful compile of your source requires a database connection. Successful testing of your ESB process requires a PAS for OpenEdge connection and a database connection. Start the database and PAS for OpenEdge using Developer Studio.

Start the database first, then configure your PAS for OpenEdge instance, oepas1, to connect its agents to the database, as shown:

Once configured, start oepas1.
